Original post is garbage. However the Green New Deal is missing two major elements: 
1. The need to massively increase government funding to research and develop cost effective adaptation to global warming.
2. The need to massively increase government funding to research and develop cost effective technologies to suck the major heat trapping gases, CO2 and methane, out of the atmosphere, in the hope of eventually stopping and then reversing global warming.

Both 1. and 2. are essential to reduce the risk of  massive calamities. The Geen New Deal measures will only slow down the rate of warming and will likely be impossible to achieve anyway due to lack of political will.
