theanswermyfriend won but I dont think there is much improvement left but Weir can pull rabbits out of his hat.
The Track bias played into its hands yesterday and was backed accordingly. The Horse had very big wraps on it but ???

Plague Stone also had a "Boom" placed on it but appears to be a "cat" imo although as always, there were excuses offered yesterday!
From the Stewards Report. http://www.racingaustralia.horse/PostStewardsReports/25082018RHIL.pdf
"Plague Stone – Began only fairly. Rider A Adkins pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR137(a) in that near the 900m he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of Plague Stone which had to be steadied and as a result lost its rightful running. A Adkins' license to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence on Monday 27 August 2018 and to expire on Friday 7 September 2018 on which day he may ride. When questioned rider G Schofield stated after suffering interference in the early stages the colt got further back than had been anticipated and found it difficult to make up ground particularly with the early moderate tempo. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up on the post-race condition of Plague Stone in the days subsequent."
