Appears Keith was being diplomatic when he said the sales figures for Jan 4C were a little more modest than he would have liked (Keith did a presentation which I can provide if required where he spoke about the January 4C, and described the sales growth as "modest").  

Appears revenue growth was actually disappointing.  

Seems like a few of the Tesserent sales people left the company within a few months of Jan 2017 "modest" sales figures.  I'm not suggesting the people that left Tesserent weren't performing.  I just note the timing of their departures.  It would also be unusual for employees to leave a job within 12 months, of their own volition.  Doesn't look too good on the resume.

KURT HANSEN: head of global sales.  Left Tesserent May 2017 as per my previous post.  Only with Tesserent for 10 months despite the announcement at the time of Kurt's appointment stating:-

It could hardly be said that Mr Hansen played a major role at Tesserent - having only been employed for 10 months.  Mr Hansen had extensive experience in IT according to his LinkedIn profile.  

Karen Negus appointed Head of Sales and Marketing April 2017.  

PAUL BARNETT: currently Business Development at Tesserent.  Appointed Feb 2017.  Previously Business Development at Palo Alto Networks.....whom Tesserent has just done a deal with.

NATASHA BEJTE: Appointed business development manager at Tesserent August 2016.  Unsure if she is still employed at Tesserent.  Her LinkedIn profile says she is still with Tesserent but also says she is "Currently Seeking Opportunities".  


CRAIG BARTLETT.  Former sales director at Tesserent as per part of his LinkedIn profile below.  Left Tesserent April 2017.  Only worked at Tesserent as a Sales Director for 10 months.

FINALLY: Tesserent was recently advertising on Seek for two Sales Executives.  

TENTATIVE CONCLUSION: Tesserent not winning as much new business as it had hoped, despite cyber security being a hot area.  Blue Reef acquisition added customers and revenue but organic growth in revenue modest.  Sales team at Tesserent not kicking as many goals / winning as much new business as would have been hoped.  Hoping this will change with Ms Negus in charge of sales.  I met her and Matt Glennan briefly and she seems like a killer.
