Thank you for your feedback which I will pass onto the directors. Irrespective of its nature, all communications with shareholders and the investment community are important. It was a difficult decision for the directors in respect of the dividend. A number of factors were considered not the least of which is the economic uncertainty that lies ahead. In the current environment debt reduction is viewed as a priority so that Oakton can return to its historically high dividend payout ratios in the future.
Problem is they have sent a very strong and powerful message that they will need the cash to survive!!! not a message i wanted to hear
