Timmo I agree with you. The largest gold mine in the world is only just down the road. How do you think that got to where it is? How do you think that started? Not by Boy Scouts. They new (I bet) how to deal in the local market to get things done.
What's a payment in the back alley hurt? Who does it hurt? We get our way over the other sh!tty corrupt people? I bet the locals would benefit more with us operating this over the corrupt locals.
I have worked in many countries and understand that this happens - get over it. Otherwise why the hell do you invest in a company that invests in massively corrupt countries?
