I've looked at a few cross section diagrams like the ones @chris1983 posted in my time.
The potential size here is enormous.
From the diagrams and information given, we can approximate the size of this deposit with:
1) 30m width
2) step out drilling indicating 50m
3) depth of 100m
4) specific gravity of 2.5
5) 4.2g/t (cut)
30mx50mx100m*2.5sg = 375,000 tonnes of gold bearing rock.
This gold bearing rock contains 4.2g/t (cut) of gold.
Total here is 4.2*375,000 = 1.5 million grams of the yellow stuff.
It's clearly open at depth, so there's upside potential.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Instead of drilling this out as fast as possible, they've moved on to the next target.
I know where I'd rather have my money at the moment... and it's not in the household mortgage.
