I'll bet some personnel costs would be incurred in an international expansion the same way physical presence was necessary for the the East coast expansion. This is necessary at this stage of product introduction to the market. The goal has always been East coast expansion before going international. Whether you agree or not, international expansion comes at a significant cost even though it will later translate to improved margins. It takes time to break even in any new market.
You also need to consider the fact that the company just made modifications to pricing to reflect cost which indicates they still need to get their strategy right before launching overseas.
In my opinion, management is not doing poorly based on financial numbers. The past few qtrs have witnessed appreciable growth in business. Where did you expect the orders for the past qtr to come from? You can't berate management based on SP only which has been falling on ridiculous and laughable volumes. When markets sentiment turn, SP3 will rerate.
Goodluck with your quest to oust Cooper. I am confident of a rerate in SP very soon.
