yes, the negative press is common when a stock is being accumulated, I expect it is placed deliberately.
........and if/when the mark up phase begins, the commentary will suddenly become positive.....you mark my words......
Yes stop placement is difficult, as the stock has only traded since November 2019, so there is no obvious structure to use for cover.
The risk is that there is a shakeout at some point, and your stop trigger gets hit, but I guess that is always a risk.
I am not using a stop, my positions are both in longer term accounts.
You do realise I don't expect COL to do much in the short term. I might be wrong, but I hope not (because I want more yet at this relatively low price). I am expecting the real (serious) movement to begin in about 6-12 months.
To be honest, if this is just a short term trade for you, you probably shouldn't be in yet. You should wait for the breakout, and then mark up to begin (that is what Richard Wyckoff did).
I am in at this early stage, to accumulate an overweight position, so I can sell some later, and then keep the remainder for income.
I take on extra risk in entering now.
