I agree than S&P's behavior here is suspect but I am not concerned in the medium term. There will be some short term selling pressure on PMV as former JST holders choose to sell but I think both the share price and the liquidty will pick up and PMV will be back in the index later. PMV is really the old JST with new management and a load of cash and it is trading at a significant discount to the value of JST prior to the TO being announced.
