MR by nature is conservative, so I reckon his production forecast was not randomly plucked out of the air - 400kT/pa is feasible.
The only time he has tried to hit it out of the park was with karly and we know how that turned out.
That said I do find it amusing that all other Aussie potash hopefuls are running with similar capex/opex and production metrics that MR had tabled some time back. What a coincidence?!
This I think may reflect more on the shallow knowledge base among the current SoP hopefuls - look at what the guy who knows his potash is doing and lets copy him.
Whatever they lack on potash specific knowledge, they make up for the deficit by being better marketers.
