Most of the Aussie potash hopefuls are drilling on areas that MR had scoped out earlier, even before these guys knew how to spell potash (as sevo eloquently said).
The electromagnetic surveys may seem like great targets, but as we know, Karly, one of the areas he hadn't tested before, turned out to be a dud.
What I find interesting is that River Rock had reached agreement with the Martu back in 2014, but what has been the holdup?
To me this illustrates, that although many of the potash hopefuls claim to be hitting the road, and making progress, that they are likely to encounter roadblocks.
The table peer comparison clearly suggests that if one is to be a major player in Aus, they need to have a resource which is as large and/or produce at a lower capex and opex cost.
At this stage, none of the Aussie hopefuls have come up with HARD metrics to better RWDs.
DNK still remains RWD's closest comparable peer in terms of HARD metrics and resource size...
