KLL reckon they can produce 300Ktpa and disturb 18km2 versus RWD producing 400 and disturbing 75km2.
Let's make no mistake RWD will produce a sh$&load of useless NaCl BUT so will KLL, just less.
Again I don't think their brine is that much better to end up with only 1/3 the area for ponds and waste. This is particularly so as they reckon RWD only has a 13 year mine life!
Finally all this environmental damage is from something which is already in the brine and will, with time, leach back into the lake.
I'm not knocking their project but pointing out some of the poetic licence.
