The Russian is Alisher Usmanov of Gallager Holding Ltd (UK). He is No. 1 on the top 20 investor list through HSBC nominees. Alisher is a Russian mining billionaire amongst other things.
He bought in back in 2008 at a share price of $2.75. The shares have only been slightly diluted since then - Strike's capital value was around $350M back then. Quite heartening that someone in his league has so much faith in what this company holds in Peru. He also was buying in on market about 18 months ago.
Just need the wheels to start turning again. Seems to be.
