And there you have it - conflict of opinion.
Several countries hold Russia responsible, including Australia.
Several countries think it was Ukraine.
The JIT includes Australian and Ukranians, but no Russians as far as I can see.

My point was that hundreds of civilians died in MH17 disaster, including Australian children. It was a civilian aircraft and whoever shot it down, knew it was a civilian aircraft. Has Russian or the Ukranians ever publically acknowledged the loss of life? I don’t think so. No one knows for sure who is responsible. But what does that matter. No one cares; unless you suffer the pain of losing someone on that flight. Note, I didn’t lose anyone, but I have empathy.

Yet a Russian military aircraft is shot down in a war zone and the “bears” are up in arms about who did it and accusations are rife. That’s what happens in military life, whether training in peace time or active service. sheet happens.

Spare a thought for those who lost innocent loved ones on MH17 because of conflict between Russia and the Ukraine.

Personally I think it’s just a matter of time before Armageddon in the 21st century, taken from an old book, will become a reality. In the meantime, I’ll see if I can drop a shot of my golf handicap, have a few beers, read about the 33 identified genders in the 2017 Australian sex survey and the massive Ice epidemic destroying young lives. And all that is just in my suburb. What a mess the world is in.
