I didn't want to subscribe to read the article that's my policy for all media sources. I don't discount the possibility based on what I had read elsewhere given the fog of war.

There is a hot line with clear terms of engagement, if Israel don't adhere to them then they broke the engagement rules. Very simple because it’s a two way street based on trust and Israel broke it badly and now can't be trusted which is massive to cross as Russian place alot of emphasis on agreements made in a legal sense. With regards to the Iran connections there is no evidence to back that claim just Israeli media's word which it isn't even an official Israeli government statement to blame Russia, its total innuendo and doesn't give Iran any credit to there capabilities which are better than most people think.

I just find it hard for SAM operators to panic or even be able to target an aircraft as they would never put Russian servicemen in danger if they were in the vicinity. When Israeli aircraft used Coalition fighters as cover months ago for a missile attack they never targeted US air assets to avoid this possibility of a mistake and yet I am to believe they would treat Russia differently?
