There was an article I posted prior where Iran admitted it, and was planning to set up manufacturing plants in Syria for ballistic missiles. Not sure about these precision missiles though, that is clearly a different league and would be very worrying for Israel, but the longer range ballistic missiles would be enough for Israel to take action. As Osi says, Russia is piggy in the middle. A difficult task to juggle as the US can attest.
Nope... no agreement, but I expect Israel like Turkey have made their security concerns clear and their likely actions on certain assets or in certain situations and that is the very reason the de-confliction mechanism exists, otherwise it would not exist if Russia was not expecting the occasional Israeli airstrike.
I would like to see de-confliction in the region. Russia clearly now has a huge roll to play in that. It would be a real coup if Putin can get Iran and others to back down on wiping out Israel. If he can do that, then there could be a Palestine solution too.
