yeah long bows, very long bows, to draw similarities between GBG MMX (Oakajee) and AVZ, yes AVZ can get played and is already getting played imv for different issues.
MMX failed in part due to timing and mostly due to their inferior IO deposit in quality, the Barnet gov at the time didn't help either, I might be wrong but I don't think it was the Chinese that benefited from their funding problems (plus a few other issues) but their major partner Mitshubishi (Japanese if I'm not mistaken) they spent quiet a lot of dough as I remember port etc but in the end the Japs (Mit) had a strategy to get a hold of the deposit for penny's and one day 100 years from now who knows, there is no rush.

GBG had some similarities to AVZ in so much that both companies had possibly a couple of great wankers heading the show, GBGs chairman and they're GM at the time time talked a big game, avery big game, made promises to SH that they failed to achieve at the time, as I recall at the time the head honcho's of BHP and Rio were asked on occasion can GBGs proposed plant to process their ore, refine their product to the point where it can be used to blend with inferior products (such e.g fmg ore) to bring it up to a level that would make them a premium product, no we don't believe that it they can, it's been tried before and failed it's just commercially viable. Ah said both our grand chairman and our GM at the time yes we CAN
they spent hundreds of millions of dollars on a white elephant that Didnt work, no apologese were herd from the big wankers and they slithered away like many of these type of w..........do.

So in the case of AVZ unlike GBG and MMX (Oakajee) yes we could be "played" but it won't be for the same reasons that altermately they got played, they had inferior product and plant that simply didn't work.
We AVZ have close to the highest quality product of its type on the planet and we also have the largest deposit of its kind on the planet. However our present hurdle as I see it is, can we get it to our clients at a commercially viable cost.

As for wank...s, I'm still waiting to pass judgement on both NF AG and ML and unlike many here I'll hold them equally responsible for the outcome as all and sundry have made the same promises as their peers from lesser and in my view inferior companies that were mentioned to be compared against.

IMV, NF start delivering, stop missing deadlines ML if you can't get the job done then p... of.

sry for the rant AVZ hldrs hv a nice day
