Where I agree with you is that AVZ need to broaden their mindset beyond dealing with the Chinese because only focussing on the Chinese is a recipe for low SP, delays in development and been played by the Chinese (hence the need for the contest able market concept - Chinese if not interested then we will sell to the Americans etc etc etc approach to draw them out).
Your point in this para is very true and one of the reason AVZ need to move AG on and get an adviser that has deep connections across the globe.
