I can echo these comments. I've spoken with ML whom I'll state does not have any direct input on the matter. but did tell me that there was very high interest from external candidates for a position on the board. You can/should confirm this with avz should you require clarification.

whilst I agree the appointment is needed in a timely matter, securing someone of this caliber for this unique circumstance is critical for the longevity and success of avz.

id much rather them take the time and hit a home run with the appointment/s as opposed to selecting a seat warmer.
