Speaking with NF, there is no shortage of candidates and the calibre is exceptional, we are talking top 50 ASX listed miner CEO's. The challenge with these types of roles is it depends on what you want the person to do! We could attract a top tier CEO and it looks great however many of them have only ever run/managed larger organizations and don't have the experience in taking essentially what is a deposit and turning it into becoming a world-class mining operation. This type of Chair will somewhat hands-off, they look impressive to roll out every now and then to do roadshows and presentations and would essentially have many contacts across the mining space but that's about it.
AVZ need a mix of a big name CEO and someone who has built a miner from the ground up.

Why just look at the ASX? Not many people here have built a mine in DRC. We should be talking to Ivanhoe, Glencore etc.
