I do blame the individual greed of the many for the economic crisis. Due to the voice of activists, France has long struggled to subsidise completely inefficient agricultural practices at the expense of industries that could have been far more efficient.
By contrast, agricultural practices in the UK are efficient.
Activists demand services and the micromanagement of industry but are unwilling to pay the associated tax.
If it were just France we could brush it off but it isn't. If you shop and ALDI you will find plenty of heavily subsidised then dumped products in the freezers and on the shelves. At least not being from China they won't have been grown with the help of excessive pesticides and other noxious chemicals. We don't buy produce from China.
