Although not a holder of VPE but of ITC I am inetrested to see your comment that they may be buying shares at a premium. ITC is worth more than double where it is probably just like VPE is undervalued. The shares are not a premium and thats why whoever is being smart and taking a position. To get the amount you need you have to pay up as simple as that no matter what company you want to take over.
The CSG assets are good but if you are to takeover us you can have my VPE shares as the company is poorly run and have been burnt too many times to come back.
