Hatchy: John K is primarily an oil man and NOT a CSG person. VPE became a CSG "play" more coincidentally.
But NOW, I do believe that John and his mates are fully aware that BOTH the OIL and CSG have great value. Hence, VPE itself will become a takeover target sooner or later... JIMHO, of course.
