The Intellect regions ARE treated like separate entities even if they are not legally separate (like business units) with their own targets, budgets, staffing arrangemnents and so on.

All I know is that the said letter WAS sent to at least one supplier/contractor, however the exact wording would differ. It seend to be a "generic letter" not specifically written with the recipient in mind. The word "Administration" WAS apparently used. But like I said, the overall context of the letter seemed to be that things would be OK but that a process was being undertaken so see thing back on track. I am not sure of when the letter was received either. Don't forget that Administrators act in various ways. "Voluntary" as was stated in the letter means that they are getting assistance, not that the company is going belly up or was forced into anything.

Joss Haag WAS originally called in like an administrator (a trusted associate of one of the previous people behind that last restructure I believe) although unofficially so, back in 1999 before his role changed I believe. He has always tried to have temporary roles within the company, stepping in when needed, as he is doing now.

I think you will find that IHGs MAJOR suppliers where taken care of in the deal but try asking the scores of tiny and even some medium size suppliers how they are fareing and you'll probably get mixed outcomes. Most of these will be forced to bide there time with fingers crossed that IHG pull through so that they eventually get their money.

That's all I have to say, it's a dead issue. Try finding out about more intersting behinf the scenes things like Pendulum & Peter Foggerty. See what Patersons have to say about that. Actually I really don't care. As soon as IHG go above my entry I'm out and don't wish to waste a second more of my time even thinking about what they are doing. Sounds like you have more money tied up in IHG than you probably should, judging by how much time your spending on this now dead issue.
