The State governments co-ordination meeting was suppposed to finalise arrangements for a uniform Feed in Tariff scheme Australia wide at their June 2010 meeting.

The tenor of the above link suggests that Rudd will wimp on this, again showing lack of commitment and negotiating skills in the climate change arena (he probably makes a good departmental head in the Qld public service where he can rule by diktat but lousy in parliament where he has to convince people to vote for his programs).

Western Australian government is also committed to introducing a FIT in WA on 1 July.

The WA review summarised in the above link suggests that WA will back out of the FIT (probably saying that in spite of the biggest mining boom in history WA does not have the money to prepare for the future).
