It is a great announcement - I bought into RTR on the strength of the potential for VMS at Braeside - a good looking prospect it is too. The deal allows IGO to take the running at the Fraser Range and RTR to retain 30% of the project, allowing RTR to focus on extracting max value from Braeside. The fact that there is excellent and extensive exposure to Fortescue Group (principally what may be the longest strike in the Hardey Formation for a single company in the basin) in the Braeside tenements is a secondary play which, in the absence of the basal Mt Roe Basalt exposures may or may not be prospective for Wits 2. Time will tell on this, however I agree with PR - the fundamentals have not changed, the VMS targets are numerous, there are a superb exploration and management teams in place, and we all stand an excellent shot at a multi-bag play with or without the Wits 2 factor.
