Yeah I think it was a combination of factors for him resigning / being forced to resigned.
I think Citi suggested at the time that he was the one who enabled RRL to build process plants more cheaply than others even though he was a geologist by profession.
The metallurgical issues were definitely the important ones for the share price as evidenced by the share price move once they removed the ore from the mine plan at GW.
