Those brokers were wrong all of last year on this company so I'm not overly swayed by their views now despite being on similar gains. To say that earnings won't increase in the next 5 years is ignoring all the recent exploration activity and how the higher grades are likely to increase production.

Today's announcement from Maca shows the plan to exploit the satellite deposits over the next five years. I'm surprised Regis didn't release their plans before the announcement from Maca but presumably Regis will give detail soon in the quarterly. Maca are forecasting $135M in revenue over five years. Probably equates to 150,000 oz.

Then of course there is the proven ability of management to build gold companies. Acquisitions or new mine building (McPhillamys) is no doubt on the cards with the hefty cash balance.
