Using the above process to estimate, ie:
Volume of shares traded this week (including estimate up to today's bell) - ~30 mil
Minus Average Daily volume over 3 months x5 days - ~17 mil
=13 mil shares more than average. On the assumption that all those shares are ready to be sold into tonight's match and Van Eck have ~30m to buy, it sounds to me like a significant shortfall in supply.
Things could be about to get interesting.
@n00bmasta, do you know what they do if there is a large shortfall. Presumably they don't just line wipe till they get their 30mil
