In recent times (last 6 months or so) this stock has continued to run contra to all other gold stocks, which has gave it a certain appeal. If not for the well publicised issues in recent times, RRL would be higher still; however, the problems they have experienced in recent times have made some punters quite nervous.
I am hanging in there as I bought at the 1.08 lows so I feel pretty comfortable with this one. The recent announcements were positive and well received, yet they were kind of obvious for the management to do.
If you look at some of my other perennial favourites such NST, SAR and EVN, they have all enjoyed strong runs and are up over two times.
All this is IMO!
