Yeah I agree. Transport costs will be the main hurdle, but the grade and strip ratio both look good.
I've mentioned before that GDA thought this was a magnetite play. Not sure why as they already had rock chips demonstrating DSO grades. Atlas were always looking for DSO.
The fact that Atlas's first round of drilling isn't surprising really. Historically all of Atlas' north Pilbara discoveries have been identified by rock chip samples. That style of iron mineralisation gives a very good correlation between surface rock chip grades and underlying drill-hole assays - as opposed to the Hamersleys where things are a tad trickier.
I used to be a GDA knocker too but I think they'll do alright out of this in spite of their usual incompetence.
