Paint on?? Not possible on anything bigger than a little city house block. Now we had some rain the only thing growing on my block is thousands of prickly pair have showed up. Been waiting for the councils release of the little white moths to eat these. Although the moths have done some of the work there is a lot to be sprayed and probably 40gals of mixed up Glyphosate to be sprayed and when they die the new suckers will have to be sprayed and this will go on for years. Its been going on for decades so far. Glyphosate is the least nasty herbacide and does not stay in the soil. Some of the other poisons for pear stay in the ground for years and the poison for lantana as well. Not to mention the others are as dear as poison and Im sure that is where that saying came from.
