These people appear to bogged down with trivial issues.
For GWR to power ahead we need a railroad. Lets put all our efforts into lobbying the government and anyone who listen to achieve this ASAP. An announcement that a railroad is happening would trigger significant capital growth i would think.
Running the Directors and each other down is unlikely to trigger capital growth.
