I haven't paid too much attention to RM, but it does appear that he almost has accumulated a cult like following from endless self promotion.

Agree with you comments on his method for attaining intrinsic value which I feel is overly simple and unreliable particularly in businessess like MCE. The reality is earnings can be cyclical and fickle in most businesses over a short period of time, therefore ROE can change quickly from one financial period to another.

He will likely suffer from his own success or lack of over time. His form regarding MCE was really quite poor. He was extremely bullish until the reports were released and then stated that it can't be accurately valued anymore than a speculative mining stock - say no more IMO.
