The Virgin Blue Group of Airlines will welcome Roger Lindeman in a new role as General Manager Service Experience in early 2011.
Group Executive of Product and Guest Services, Martin Daley, said Mr Lindeman had more than 40 years of airline-related customer service he would bring to the Group together with extensive experience working in commercial operations; with airport operators and codeshare partners.
?Roger has experience in customer service, sales and marketing; industrial relations and management experience at Australian and international airports and airline offices.
?He has dealt with many crises including the Asian tsunami; tragic bombings in Bali and the terrorist attacks in New York.
?Roger?s renowned customer service skills have won him many accolades and awards. He will be a huge asset to the Virgin Blue Group of Airlines.
?We are delighted to have Roger onboard,? Mr. Daley said.
Mr Lindeman commenced his airline career in 1968 with Qantas Airways. His most recent role was Head of Airports Customer Experience.
Having spent 14 years on overseas assignments, he is the Founding Deputy Chairman of Bali International Education Board; President of the Australian ? Thai Chamber of Commerce (Bangkok); Executive Director of Australia Korea Business Council and Australia New Zealand Council; and an Executive Committee member of Singapore Australia Business Council.
