you're reading it correctly... 1.3m of minerilisation from 0.5m from surface and within that 1.3m is a .4m section at 144.5 grams per ton.

however couple of things, gold is tricky and tends to be nuggety, clustered or viened... you could be on the biggest gold find of the century and drill between the nuggety viens and never know as your drills bring back low or no hits. the inverse is true too, you may drill right into a nugget that is the only gold in the entire area. As such its best to take drills as a collection and develop a picture of the whole strike before trying to determine that is a shallow or deep resource or where the high grade stuff is.....
