I don't think the big shareholders are in the Boards pockets. Its just a small investment for many of the top 20 and there are some old relationships. The original investment decisions may not be something to be proud of and the sooner the whole thing goes away the better. A key driver seems to be ego. None can't admit they failed!

If acting in the shareholders' interests new business and new technical blood would have already been sought. I agree that if the largest shareholders made some noise the Board may respond differently than they have so far. For minor shareholders to have any impact it requires many smaller, but not less important, voices to sound. An attempt at this through the EGM failed.

Many large shareholders hung on based on the Beston promise. It would never be profitable, just an exit. At the time of the Beston announcement the market cap. was $4.8 million with a value being put up to be about $7 million. Now the market cap is $1.65 million. Are they still pursuing the Beston deal based on the $7 million valuation? No one knows because there have been no announcements.

If the stock had risen 66% so quickly as it has fallen the 66% the ASX would have had questions.

I too have the dilemma, sell and take the loss in my super or hold with the hope of a miracle. My sentiment is disappointment.
