There is a view by these companies that their SP performance is everyone else's fault but their own. I recall HZN SP got up to 48c when instos investors believed the story - then came crashing down shortly after. There was plenty of insto appetite and interest in HZN and HZN has had many opportunities to present their story to insto investors. Just by being bigger, is not going to magically fix HZN's woes with insto investors.
Shifting to Asian listing and blaming low SP on ASX is another cop out, in my opinion. Is LNC the company whose example HZN/ROC should follow?
The litmus test on HZN paying dividends is the cash receivable from Osaka. When HZN announced the Osaka deal last year they released a statement that they would use the proceeds to make a distribution. Should be due any day as the cash from Osaka is due - I hope they are true to their word. They have quoted dividends again today..... Makes people feel good and be compliant......
