One year ago, Domino’s unveiled its self-driving pizza delivery robot DRU.
CEO Don Meij told the media that Domino’s would have “consistent automated delivery out of a few stores” within the next six to 12 months.
One year has passed and Domino’s has given its customers a picture of the robot instead of the real thing – what an epic #FAIL.
This is part of their latest gimmick, DRU Assist – ordering pizzas by having an instant message conversation with a computer program.
