Top life/business coach, Tony Robbins, is promoting prospect of a health coaching “revolution”.
Robbins is a mate of CardieX CEO Craig Cooper.
“Craig has built and transformed some of the leading businesses in consumer Internet and digital media," Robbins says.
"He has a vision for big market opportunities and a passion for living life to the fullest."
And Cooper is a mate/mentor to Robbins. He’s been a personal advisor to Robbins and The Anthony Robbins Group of Companies on various digital projects.
Now, “Team Tony” has posted a health coaching analysis on the Robbins website.
While not mentioning CardieX, Chris Kresser, author of the The Paleo Cure and founder of the Kresser Institute, is clearly on the same page.
He says: “Given that we spend nearly $4 trillion on healthcare each year, if utilizing health coaches could reduce that by even 25% (which is entirely reasonable) that would save us a trillion dollars a year.
“That’s no small thing, since some estimates suggest that the United States will be bankrupt by the year 2035 if healthcare spending continues to increase at its current pace.
“And since medical expenses are the number one cause of individual bankruptcy, using health coaches in this way could have a significant impact on each American’s pocketbook as well.”
Kresser claims chronic disease is “destroying our quality of life, shortening our lifespan, bankrupting our country and threatening the health of future generations.”
He says the US “disease management” system, which was designed to address medical emergencies and other acute conditions, is not prepared for the challenge of chronic disease or preventative care.
“We desperately need a new solution – one that is affordable, timely and suitable for the task at hand.
“In short, that’s why we need a health coach revolution!”
Now, it seems, Craig Cooper wants to place himself and CardieX at the head of that revolution.
Having secured control of LA-based health coaching firm InHealth Medical Services, he’ll be driving the health coaching message to key partners such as Anthem, American Well, Kaiser Permanente.
And he's just tweeted this: "As the CEO of @CardieX Ltd I'm fortunate to be making a positive contribution to humanity by developing health and medical solutions that advance global wellbeing.
"I don't think there can be a better corporate or personal mission."
