It depends on the terms of the take over.
If it's an all-cash offer, the company making the offer will decide what price per share they are prepared to offer and you will get that amount for each share you own, provided shareholders vote in favour of accepting the offer
And if you bought at 20c, there's nothing dumb about you mate
