Hopefully the roadshow makes a difference as it usually does with these sort of punty stocks.
However, unfortunately previous roadshows for NNW have made no difference at all.
IMO a few of the problems with their roadshows include:
- CEO is very difficult to understand, she gives a lot of information but not the key messages
- The actual presentation is usually quite confusing - this is a simple concept, the presentation should be simple
- With their new CFO the presentations are now even more confusing, much longer and look very much like corporate finance style presentations (he used to work in corporate finance at ML)
- They tend to just see they same funds that Investor Link knows, so no new buying
- Once they have had the meeting there is limited research for people new to the story to look at (other than Fosters). This is likely because NNW keeps telling everyone they are going to move to the US soon so no one wants to cover them in Oz
Anyway, hopefully this roadshow is better and gets the price moving (in the right direction...!!!).
