Understand your frustration Stoz but Directors really had no choice other than to make the recommendation they did after Northgate pulled out; they would have had zero credibility had they continued to recommend a 'do not sell because another bid is coming', having said that since mid-April, and no-one stumping up a bid.

Also, their recommendation did say 'in the absence of a higher bid', and they had indicated that several parties had been through the data room too.
