HC = HotCopper / ANNs = announcements made by companies / SP = shareprice / SH = shareholders / BOD = board of directors ........ lots more but google if you see an acronym you don't know of and prefix it with ASX .
I dont hold this stock and so can tell you very little about it ,only came for a look as i see its currently in the most discussed column.
Its not easy when you first start dabbling in shares and its definitely something that you shouldn't invest in unless you are fully prepared to lose that money ...... best advice is "dont invest more than your prepared to lose" . Sometimes you have to have a punt and learn as you go and thats what i'd say your doing now and thats fine but just don't get caught up in all the BS ( pretty sure you'll know that one ) , there will be people on hotcopper who RAMP a stock to try to push other people to either BUY or SELL shares to suit their own agenda examples as follows
UP RAMPING = I want the people to buy shares so that i can get rid of mine so i would tell the world how awesome the company is and that i know something big is going to happen soon , then i sit and hope that other people get all excited and buy a sheet load of shares which pushes the price UP and its at this point that the guy doing the ramping usually sells and moves on.
DOWN RAMPING = opposite of upramping .... I want to buy shares in a company for the lowest price i can so for a few hours or days i get on hotcopper and tell everyone how i have inside info that a company is struggling and that something terrible is going to make the share price plummet.... people get scared / nervous and decide to get rid of their shares dumping them at lower prices and thats when the ramper will swoop in and buy up lots of cheaper shares.
.
Certainly have a crack at the sharemarket but just be careful to DYOR ( do your own research ) and be very wary of believing everything thats written .... its usually a good idea to google and read up on any company for a few hours prior to deciding on whether you want to invest or not , the ANNs are a good starting point and theres a TAB for them on the right of this page where you see the chart displayed ( on old hotcopper ).
Anyways , good luck and hope this helped a little , i know it was tough for me when i first started out and thats something that some people here may forget .
.
The above is all IMO ( in my opinion ) only and should not be taken as advice.
