Anyone getting jittery over drilling should take a breather. No news is not bad news. Things like this take time. Geof is handling it. He and management has enough skin in the game for us to trust that his actions are in the best interest of all shareholders. (T20 have 54%)
He's not one to overpromise and underdeliver so lets wait patiently. Not long now.
Just look at PNN (not held). Overpromised the start of drilling at their Pular project and when they announced a 3-4 week delay today (w/ rubbish excuse imo) -> share price -26%.
Slow and steady is the best policy here.
This is old but still interesting news for what we might be able to expect at CM. Westwater Resources (ex Uranium Resources) finished drilling and has released brine & sediment samples from their CM project (BELOW).
And here's us - a few hundred meters south of them.
They drilled a total of 5 core holes for 2440m with each hole between 1500ft (457m) to 2000ft (609m).

They "returned assay values from near-surface brines in the range of 70 to 170 ppm (parts per million) lithium, and sediment samples that ranged in value from 69 ppm to 176 ppm lithium, as determined by ALS Minerals’ analytical laboratory in Reno, Nevada." - link
Below is their MT survey.
Looking at the righthand scale, we can see the minimum resistivity present within their ~450-600m drill hole depth across the board is 0.6 Rho as see against the bottom left scale. Rho is a measure of resistivity whereas ohm-m is a SI measure of electrical resistivity. Take them as equal for our purposes here.
Anything <0.1 ohm-m typically suggests presence of brines. Anything above that but below 4-5 could be sediments or clays.
So they have 70-170ppm from 0.6 ohm-m. Our MT survey next door (below) shows 0.1/0.2 ohm-m. I assume therefore that we will average a minimum of 100ppm with a maximum anywhere up to 200s ppm. If we take that with a 1:2 - 1:3 Li:Mg then we will could have a quality project.
Just speculation as always since nothing is certain until drilling and sample analysis.
Big Smokey South next will also be very exciting as there is, like CM, a significant <0.1 ohm-meter area. Using my self-invented geology technique, I measured the <0.1 ohm-m area in CM and BSS on my computer screen with a ruler to gauge which area was bigger. The immediate area around CM1 came in at 1.8cm wide and 2cm deep. The smaller area to the right side is 1.7cm wide and 1.5cm at its deepest (min resistivity there is 0.3-0.6 ohm-m)
BSS <1 ohm-m area came in at 1.6cm wide and 1cm deep.
No data available on length of basins (z axis) as the MT surveys are 2D.
So far though, Columbus Salt Marsh seems a bit bigger but BSS is still nonetheless significant.
Please do not take this as decision making material lol.
