Rita Panahi editorials on Outsiders on Sunday were quite brilliant.
First she called out how the left were using the horrific attack in Christchurch to go after anybody they disagree with. And then the insensitive virtual signalling of PM Ardern and half of New Zealand wearing the hijab, when the hijab is a symbol of oppression for thousands of Muslim women living under the yoke of Islam. Women who are routinely beaten and jailed for taking off their hijabs.
I believe Panahi has backed that up with an article in the Herald Sun newspaper today - although I haven't read it.
Just shows you how often privileged feminists in the western world actually think about the appalling discrimination women face elsewhere.
