YC is just pointing out a few realisms to the readers of this website. Good on him. There's room for healthy skepticism.
The constraints are real. Rising transportation costs are real. Less secure feedstock is real.
What are the margins for nutrimix? What is the useful prouct life schedule? Is degradation of the product linear? Why have specific figures regarding cost and product life not been made widely available to the market?
These are the questions I could not find answers for during discussions with the company. If you have any data to match any of the questions, it would be appreciated. The product could be more interesting if we had some solid figures to support the otherwise wild claim that the product will be successful. Will investment in the company will provide adequate returns to justify the elevated risk?
Thanks.
