As per Charlie's video... France gets twice as much energy from clean sources and yet pays half the price compared to Germany.
AND it's all from nuclear.
As for the cost of electricity in Australia... those quoted prices are nowhere near the current real retail cost of electricity.
Having just negotiated a new power supply, I can attest to that. The best I could get, I live in QLD was 0.169706 for consumption and supply charge of 0.38230 c per day. The average supply charge is closer to a dollar per day.....So, This was way, way better than any other supplier. Flat rate.. no discounts of any type.
