Its not garnered on fundamentals, its all about market perception.

I have no doubt in my mind that if ripple had less coins on issue it, it would not have gone so well.

People are buying ripple because they think '$2 is cheap' without understanding how market cap works and that there is a maximum supply of $100,000,000,000.

So often I have heard 'bitcoin is $15,000, ripple is only $2!'.... Not taking into consideration the maximum supply of bitcoin is a multiple of 4,761 less...

Not that I own bitcoin either.
