Having grown up in the Pilbara and worked in Telfer for a while I know the area reasonably well. If Rio are building a road southward from the highway, RDM will benefit as it will go straight through their Ground.
I know it wont help in actually finding anything , but It's 1 little thing that will be a bit easier. I wonder why they just didn't continue the Telfer road from Marble Bar, as that would have been shorter overall particularly for anything coming from the south.
If a mine is built it will make sense, as any ore would be shipped through Port Headland. But at this early stage I'm surprised.
